This policy applies to the Terava corporate website at terava.io. Terava builds industry-specific software around real-world operations. This website is primarily intended for business and professional inquiries.

This notice describes our current website practices and is intended to support applicable data-protection requirements, including Panama's Law 81 of 2019 where applicable.

2. Information we handle

Information you provide

If you contact us through the website, we receive the name, company or organization, work email, industry or field, message, and the language used for the inquiry. The website does not write contact submissions to a Terava contact database; the submission is delivered to us by email through Mailtrap.

Security information

To protect the contact form from automated abuse, our server temporarily uses the request IP address for rate limiting and sends the IP address with the Turnstile token to Cloudflare for validation. Our application does not include the IP address in the contact email or persist it in a database. Cloudflare Turnstile also processes browser and network signals needed to distinguish humans from bots.

Analytics information

Google Analytics is optional. It is not loaded until you consent to analytics. If enabled, Analytics may collect information such as page visits and interactions, approximate geography, and browser or device information.

Preferences

We store your language preference and your cookie-consent choice so the site can respect those decisions on later visits.

3. How we use information

• To respond to inquiries and continue a conversation you start with Terava.
• To operate, secure and protect the website and contact form.
• To remember language and privacy preferences.
• When you consent, to understand aggregate website usage and improve the site through Google Analytics.

We do not sell personal information submitted through this website. We do not use this consent layer to enable advertising storage.

4. Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to operate this website:

• Cloudflare — website delivery and security, including Turnstile on the contact form. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
• Mailtrap — transactional email delivery for contact-form submissions. See Mailtrap's Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics — website analytics only after you accept analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable terms, privacy commitments and data-processing arrangements.

5. Retention

Contact inquiries are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain the resulting business communication and meet legitimate record-keeping needs. The website's in-memory rate-limit records expire on a short rolling window and are not written to a database.

The analytics-consent preference is designed to expire after 180 days. The language-preference cookie is set for up to one year; local browser storage may remain until it is changed or cleared. Google Analytics retention is governed by the settings of our Analytics property and Google's applicable controls.

6. Your choices and rights

You can reject analytics without losing access to the website or contact form. You can change your analytics choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. When analytics is disabled through our settings, we stop loading Analytics on future page loads and remove the Google Analytics cookies accessible to our site.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, rectification or correction, cancellation or deletion, opposition, portability, or restriction of personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. Contact us to make a request.
